Sat 26th September 2026 – Reynolds Park, Woolton
£30.00
A three hour forage around this suburban, hilltop park. Well established and diverse planting provide opportunity to learn loads about foraging within a small space. Woodland zones, a meadow, and even a formal walled rose garden - this is not a 'wild' space, but it's great to showcase what urban foraging is all about. A great course for beginners.
Parking: On Church Road, outside the gate.
Postcode: L25 6DB
Meeting Place: Just inside the park gate.
Date: Saturday 26 September 2026

What to Expect
We’ll start with a short lesson on the basics of foraging including safety, legality and ethics.
Then we’ll head out on a walk to see what wild edibles we can find! Depending on season and habitat, this will include foliage, flowers, fruits and fungi. We will also use any opportunity to impart extra nature knowledge, whether that’s bird spotting, ecology, history or toxicology - it’s not all about food!
You can expect friendly and informal tuition, and to be involved in the process! Foraging is a hands-on pursuit. At the end of our walk, we’ll review what’s in our forager’s basket, discuss cooking ideas, and share a drink of fantastic pine needle tea or similar seasonal drink.
What to Bring
