Terms and Conditions (Effective from December 2025)

 

By using this website or booking any course, workshop, or event with Wyrd of Mouth, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You take part and use this site at your own risk.

1. Booking and Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Bookings must be made via www.wyrdofmouth.com or directly with Barry Green. Bookings made through any third-party platform are not valid.

• All bookings are subject to availability, and we may decline bookings at our discretion.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations must be made by email at least 14 days before the course to receive a refund (minus a £5 admin fee).

• No refunds are given for cancellations within 14 days.

• If we cancel a course (e.g. due to weather, safety, or insufficient numbers), you will receive a full refund.

3. Course Changes

• We may need to change course dates, times, locations, or content. You will be notified as soon as possible.

• If the alternatives offered are unsuitable, you may request a full refund.

4. Late Arrival

• Courses start promptly. We cannot refund missed time.

• We may refuse entry to latecomers; no refund will be issued in these circumstances.

5. Right to Refuse Entry

• We may refuse entry or remove participants for behaviour or safety concerns or failure to follow instructions.

• No refund or compensation will be provided.

6. Health and Safety

• You are responsible for your own safety during the course.

• You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or requirements. We will try to accommodate them but cannot guarantee this.

• By attending, you confirm you are physically fit for outdoor activities and understand the natural hazards involved (e.g., uneven ground, low branches, weather, wildlife, other members of the public).

• Any food consumed during the course is at your own risk; individuals may react differently to wild foods.

7. Liability

• Foraging involves inherent risks. By taking part, you accept these risks.

• Wyrd of Mouth and its staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

8. Photography

• We may take photos or video for promotional use. By attending, you consent to this.

• You can take photos too! For learning and sharing.
